    What Sets Heartfield Apart?

    The Heartfield Curriculum

Looking for a kindergarten that futures curiosity and builds confidence? Heartfield makes learning fun with hands-on activities inspired by Montessori, Reggio Emilia, and play-based methods. Our children gain confidence, make friends, and develop key skills – preparing them for school and beyond.

    Our Teachers

Our teachers are passionate educators with local and international training. They nurture curiosity, spark creativity, and create a supportive environment where children feel confident to explore and grow. With their diverse experience, they guide each child to discover and learn in their own unique way.

    Our Philosophy

We believe every child is unique and full of potential. Our role is to nurture their confidence, creativity, and character. Through outdoor play, hands-on learning, and bilingual conversations, we create a supportive environment where children grow, explore and thrive.

    The Heartfield Founder’s Story

    Words from our families

Heartfield for Tara has been her home away from home. Tara has enjoyed every moment of her time and in fact never wanted to leave. The warmth of her teachers and the strong bond with friends have nurtured her love for learning and personal growth. Heartfield has helped her express herself confidently and prepared her for Primary One with grace and enthusiasm.

    Rahul Kaul, Tara’s dad

Heartfield’s unique play-based environment provided comfort, knowing the teachers understood the local school system. Its diverse setting fostered a growth mindset, preparing Tara for a larger school. For P1 prep, Math, English, and MTL concepts were introduced alongside essential skills like organisation, discipline, indolence, teamwork, and friendship-building. The school’s communication and feedback process also worked well for our family.

    Tanya, Tara’s mum

Finding a preschool for Beth and Luke was easy. Beth joined Heartfield (formerly Little Hands) at 2 after I saw how much happier she was there, and Luke started at 18 months. I wanted open spaces for play, loving teachers, and a curriculum tailored to each child. Most importantly, I wanted them to grow with a caring heart and genuine friendships. Heartfield met all these needs.
